i tend to do cleaner things with it, but it has a very particular voice that sounds pretty cool when you distort it, provided you know what you're doing.
stock gibson usa pickups, which i didn't like at first, but came to really appreciate once i had them shimmed. who ever said 'i can't wait to solo on the highest frets with a lot of gain standing right next to the amp on a hollowbody guitar where the body joins the neck several frets lower than the average guitar'? that's just stupid. sometimes a feel bad for the plankers that can't figure this out. at no point in history was a casino ever a blues dad guitar, and if you insist on playing a hollowbody with high gain a foot and a half from the amp and it feeds back, you really have nobody to blame but yourself.
While i understand their complaints, half of them are user error, and the other half are unreasonable expectations.
